Electrical Energy Efficiency Solutions

Are you grappling with soaring energy expenses, unpredictable power outages, and frequent load shedding that are adversely impacting your business operations and profits?

And, perhaps you're feeling trapped in a precarious situation, worried that:

  • Your budget might be stretched beyond its limits;
  • Your systems will be oversized, leading to unnecessary expenses;
  • An ill-suited energy strategy will diminish your return on investment;
  • Unforeseen system failures will be encountered prematurely;
  • You will be landed with an unsuitable long-term energy partner; and that
  • Inappropriate systems will be implemented, resulting in an unfavourable energy balance.

Rest assured, you're not alone in facing these challenges. Many institutions encounter similar hurdles, finding it difficult to convince both themselves and their board of directors about the tangible advantages of investing in low energy replacements, renewable energy and backup energy solutions. It's crucial to recognize that these investments hold significant potential not only in terms of financial benefits but also for ensuring business continuity and making prudent use of available technologies to turn your electrical demand into a profitable asset.

It is important to understand that solving energy expenses, load shedding and unpredictable power outages requires dedicated and well-engineered solutions, namely:

  • Ensuring an energy-efficient load that will reduce energy costs and backup size;
  • Incorporating renewable energy sources to offset energy expenses; and
  • Employing backup energy supplies, such as battery and diesel generators, to address both levels of power outages, namely scheduled load shedding and unpredictable outages.

The above solutions must be subjected to:

  • Dedicated feasibility studies to identify, size and approve profitable solutions;
  • Procurement of appropriate systems complying with the approved feasibility outcome;
  • Implementation with strict quality , time and cost management; and
  • Life cycle monitoring and control to confirm and ensure that feasibility criteria are met.

To ensure the successful execution of these solutions, it is imperative to thoroughly evaluate all potential technologies, feasibility studies, system proposals, cost management strategies, and life cycle agreements, with a strong focus on independent engineering management.

Inframid assists organisations to achieve the correct combination of electrical power supply systems and load elements, including:

  • Electrical load definition, its segments, energy efficiency gaps and power supply needs;
  • Utility connections at the most cost-effective tariff scale;
  • Backup power supply in the form of diesel or other state-of-the-art generators;
  • Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to provide seamless changeover to backup power supply; and
  • Renewable energy generation in the form of solar, wind and other bleeding edge generation technologies (Thereby converting your load into a valuable asset).
